Using the German heritage of the brand I looked back in time for inspiration to 1940's product design, where German brand Braun was already making design history. This suave take on a single strap monk shoe was designed and developed for AW19/20. Drawing on Dieter Ram's 10 principles of design I aimed for as little design as possible. The research culminated in an elegant shoe with subtle hand stitching, and piping
